The end-fed half wave antenna (EFHW) is one of the most popular antennas for those carrying everything they need for remote operations. Our Micro 40-15m EFHW Antenna/Tuner/SWR Indicator is the perfect compact companion for your 40m-15m outdoor expeditions, restricted apartment location, or just for fun in the backyard on a pleasant afternoon. Throw a recommended piece of wire up to a tree, connect it to the tuner with the easy pushbutton terminal block, tune for the minimum SWR with the integral LED indicator and you are ready to go. The built-in absorption bridge design will ensure you do not damage your finals with a poor SWR. You can mount either the BNC female or SMA female connection to your rig, both are supplied. The tuner is rated for 5 watts continuous, 10 watts PEP, measures 2.62″ x 1.50″ and only x.xoz. (xx grams). No wonder they are the most popular. The tools required are a soldering iron with a small tip, rosin core solder, side cutters, small phillips screwdriver, and can be built in an hour or two.
